Will the installer bring the heat pump system to my home on the day of install?
Yes, the installer will bring this to your home on the day.
How far will the installer travel to install my heat pump unit?
Travel up to 35km from the store booking your installation is included. If the installer is required to travel further than 35km from the booking store there will be an additional charge per excess KM travelled.
What does a back to back installation mean?
If back to back install won’t suit my home, what should I do?
In these circumstances you can purchase the FREE, no obligations Measure and Quote Service to find the right heat pump for your home.
Can the outside compressor unit be installed away from where the head unit is to be installed?
Yes we deliver non back-to-back installation but additional charges will apply.
If the inside unit is being installed on an internal wall, do I need a condensate pump?
What is an internal wall?
Can pre-existing pipe work be used for a new heat pump unit?
No. Old piping can affect the integrity of the product and its warranty.
Terms and conditions
The supply and Installation offer is for the specified units only. Bunnings Heat Pump Supply and Installation Service is available in Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Mount Maunganui and Christchurch and can only be used with selected products, as shown in store or online, purchased from Bunnings. Installation must be paid for prior to booking. ‘From’ pricing represents ‘standard’ and ‘back-to-back’ installation of a split system unit. ‘Non standard’ installations will incur additional charges. Excess travel is charged when the customers home is further than 35km from the nearest store.
